Composition and characteristics
LM-4G glacier coolant is composed of modified diols. The main additives of LM-4G glacier coolant include corrosion inhibitor, mould inhibitor, solubilizer, stabilizer and so on. It is a light color liquid. As a professional coolant, LM-4G glacier coolant has the advantages of safe, non-toxic, odorless, non-flammable, and not easily volatile. At 20℃, the density, viscosity, thermal conductivity and specific heat of LM-4G glacier coolant are 1.110~1.140 g/cm3, 22.1 cP, 0.27 W/m·K and 0.588 cal/g·℃, respectively. The flash point of LM-4G glacier coolant is 120℃. The boiling point of LM-4G glacier coolant is higher than 140℃, and the freezing point is less than -50℃.
Usage and Application
LM-4G glacier coolant has the advantages of low toxicity, non-flammable, high specific heat, strong cold carrying capacity and so on. It has excellent corrosion protection capabilities for carbon steel, stainless steel, red copper and other metals. In the temperature range of -30℃ to 110℃, it can be used as industrial coolant. When used, it needs to be diluted with water until the concentration is below 85%. Select the appropriate concentration according to the process requirements and use it separately. It has good thermal stability when used at high temperatures.
